So more about this camp... Want to check it out? www.campstarlight.com. Beautiful, huh? If you have time you should watch the video! It is amazing. I am going to be a bunk specialist. I will find out which age group of girls will be in my bunk once I get there and go through a week of training.
Feelings:
- I am super excited and super scared at the same time to travel East. I am hoping for some amazing weather.
- I will miss my babies. I have nannied for the same wonderful 3 children for the longest time. I cannot imagine how much they will grow in the 6ish weeks I am gone..
- This will be the first summer I am away from my family, friends, and Seattle.. I am going to miss them and the summers we spend together.
- I am leaving an amazing guy behind who I am going to miss. I wish Pennsylvania and Bonney Lake were closer.. Guess we will see how things go in August.
- There is a bubble of excitement in my tummy. I am SO ready for what I hear will be the best summer of my life. Bring on a new experience.
Miranda, If you find yourself in the short amount of time you are in PA write a book!!!! We all need the answers. I hope you have observed a lot, listened a lot and soaked up the love and admiration coming your way from the staff and your kids. You can block all that amazing stuff if you think "not good enough". It is like a door slamming shut on all the goodness coming your way because of putting up road blocks to what YOU persieve you do not deserve. You deserve all of it. You really did not loose yourself at school, it is part of the path of finding yourself. If you do not experience some disequilimbrium you are not learning. God put us on a path, not a bullet train, where you start at the beginning and get off a finished polished person. The path takes us many places, and my hope is that you ask the questions, write them down, listen to the wee small voice in you, and understand the answers are in the path not the end destination. You are marvelous as you are and my goodness what you are becoming is even more amazing. Take it in, breathe and know that is of God. Few people (even remarkable people) have been given guidance in a one shot explosion with God having an individual tete a tete (head to head)with you. Just like you are a tool and an instrument in others lives, so to are they for you. Write down what you recieve--patterns develop--NOW I SHALL TRY MY OWN ADVICE
